About Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 249 Schenectady Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 AMโ€“10:30 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. I placed an order for delivery, provided my correct address, and waited approximately 30 minutes for my food. When I called to check on the status of my order, the representative told me that she had attempted to call me three times with no answer. When I asked what number she had been calling, she read back a number that did not belong to me. I immediately explained that the number was incorrect, yet instead of addressing the mistake or attempting to resolve the situation, she proceeded to hang up on me.

Food is good for affordable cost, best to pick up and eat out.

I came to pick it up; they told me it would take two minutes, but after that, they said it would take another ten minutes. Itโ€™s been over 20 minutes, and I still haven't received my food.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. Within the last year or so, it seems as though the ownership has changed. Although the food is the same, I will probably never come back due to them penny pinching. For years, my go-to has always been their honey wings with either fries or fried rice. Usually when I get it with fries, I ask the to put a little bit of their bbq sauce on the fries because I like the taste of the two sauces combined. Today I ordered that and when I asked for the bbq sauce, the woman said it will be an additional 50 cents. I looked at her like she was crazy because I never heard of a Chinese store charging extra for sauce on fries. I told her it was ridiculous but I didnโ€™t argue with her. I passed on the sauce, paid for my food and left. Iโ€™ll never go back there. Thereโ€™s plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area
